The Project
ADIBE Collaborative is a new method for creating cultural change. It is, itself, inclusive of all concepts of the traditional Diversity & Inclusion approach: access, diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity. Inherent in the name is also their order of operations — each of these pieces must be tackled, in that order, to create truly transformative and lasting change.
ADIBE approached us to re-imagine a logo, develop brand guidelines, and create a presentation. Despite having an existing logo, they wanted something that better communicated their vision and that was aesthetically cohesive. We took this as an opportunity to create something that truly spoke to the essence of ADIBE.
The Outcome
Creating a logo for ADIBE Collaborative posed an interesting challenge, as the name itself conveys the spirit of their mission. We wanted to capture the various concepts of the traditional Diversity and Inclusion approach—access, diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity—in a single logo.
After getting ourselves acquainted with the core values behind this movement like collaboration & creating lasting change; we delved into research & interviews with key stakeholders before putting our minds together on which design elements would best bring out their brand.
We were excited to partner with ADIBE in crafting their unique visual identity! After careful consideration, we decided on a dynamic logo that encapsulated all five of the core concepts; each element overlapping harmoniously. We chose energizing colors and complemented them with an up-to-date font - totally transforming ADIBE’s brand imagery into something that truly embodied their mission: fostering lasting cultural change through collaboration & inclusion.
